Privacy, terms and disclaimer

1. What is Linkle?

Linkle is a free online tool that lets you save and organize links. Linkle is a product of Rideko, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

2. Who is responsible?

Linkle is offered by Rideko. For questions about privacy or the service, you can contact us at info@rideko.nl.

3. What data do we collect?

When you log in, we receive:

  • Your name and email address (from your Google account or the email address you log in with)
  • The links, categories and notes you add yourself

We do not collect additional personal data, location data or data from other apps on your device.

4. Where is your data stored?

Your data is stored on Supabase servers within the European Union. The website itself runs via Vercel. Both parties maintain their own security measures and privacy policies.

5. Cookies and tracking

Linkle only uses functional cookies necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking, analytics or advertising. Your data is not shared with third parties and not sold.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Know what data we have about you
  • Have your data deleted
  • Cancel your account

Contact us at info@rideko.nl for this. We will process your request as quickly as possible.

7. Disclaimer and liability

Linkle is offered "as is", without any warranty.

Rideko is not liable for:

  • Loss of saved links, categories or other data, for any reason
  • Unavailability or malfunctions of the service
  • Damage arising from the use of Linkle
  • The content or availability of websites you link to
  • Unauthorized access to your account or data
  • Problems caused by third parties (including Supabase, Vercel, Google or internet providers)

Linkle is a tool, not a storage service. We do not guarantee that your data will be preserved. There is no backup obligation. If your links are important to you, save them elsewhere as well.

8. Terms of use

By using Linkle you agree to the following:

  • You are responsible for everything you save in Linkle
  • You do not use Linkle for illegal or malicious purposes
  • You do not share your account with others
  • Rideko may modify, pause or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice
  • Rideko may remove accounts without notice in case of (suspected) abuse

9. Prohibited use

It is expressly prohibited to use Linkle to store, distribute or make accessible:

  • Material relating to child sexual abuse (CSAM), in any form
  • Links to malware, viruses, phishing or other harmful software
  • Content that incites hatred, violence, discrimination or terrorism
  • Material that infringes on the rights of others
  • Anything that violates Dutch law or the law of the user's country

In case of violation, your account will be immediately and without warning removed. Rideko is legally obligated to report criminal offenses to the competent authorities, including all available account data.

10. Report abuse

Do you suspect abuse of Linkle? Contact us at info@rideko.nl. We take every report seriously and act as quickly as possible.

11. Position of Rideko

Rideko offers Linkle as an intermediary (hosting service) within the meaning of the Digital Services Act (DSA). Rideko has no knowledge of and no control over the content that users save. Saved links are private and not visible to Rideko or other users, unless a user chooses to make content public.

Rideko is not liable for the content that users save, but will act as soon as it becomes aware of unlawful content, in accordance with applicable legislation.

12. Force majeure

Rideko is not liable for damage or loss of data as a result of circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: server problems, hacks, data breaches, malfunctions at external services, natural disasters or government measures.

13. Changes

We may adjust this privacy policy and these terms at any time. The most recent version is always available on this page. By continuing to use Linkle after a change, you agree to the amended terms.
